2024 National West Showcase
Ryder Shapiro is a 2027 3B/RHP, IF, OF with a 6-0 160 lb. athletic frame from La Porte, TX who attends La Porte. Started off the event clocking 7.35 60-yard dash. A primary third baseman who worked through the ball aggressively and with confidence showing the proper footwork and glove work techniques. Shapiro's actions are serviceable and the arm is quick and accurate. He made all the required plays with some flare and can throw on the run with ease. At the plate, he showed intent in the swing and squared it up consistently making for a loud BP round. The use of his long frame and leverage suggests there is definite over the fence power potential. Excellent student.
