Jorge Granada is a 2024 C with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Homeschool. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 7.57 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has good lower half quickness and moves his feet well, has good arm strength and gets on line carry, tends to stand straight up to throw and can gain ground better with his lower half, has the athleticism to continue to improve on defense. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a short and tight hand path, stays inside the ball with a mid field to opposite field line drive approach. Also pitched, has a low effort delivery with a medium length 3/4's arm action, stays on line through release well with a short stride out front. Fastball topped out at 76 mph, mostly straight. Also mixed in a slurve type breaking ball with good arm speed. Good student.
