Ryan Desmond is a 2027 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Monroe Township, NJ who attends Monroe Twp. Desmond works from a physically advanced build with clear strength proportioned throughout. Primary 1B, displayed feel for footwork around the bag with softness to hands. Produced accurate throws across the diamond up to 74 mph. On the mound, worked from the stretch utilizing a coiled leg lift before extending down the slope. Commanded the arsenal well with FB topping out at 76 mph. 11-5 shaped breaker up to 1908 rpm. Offensively, started from a slightly open base with a high hand set. Utilized leg lift trigger with good rhythm to the stroke. Generated impact to both gaps with solid jump off the barrel, posting an exit velo of 81 mph. Ran a 7.66 sixty yard dash. Good student.
