Pedro Rivera is a 2023 MIF/C with a 5-4 140 lb. frame from Bayamon, PR who attends Escuela Especializada en Baseball. Short compact athletic build. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance, has a big uphill swing with good raw bat speed and plenty of extension through contact, can improve his swing plane for more consistent contact on plane with the ball. 7.42 runner in the sixty, has sound fundamental actions at second base, quick and active feet that enable him to work behind the ball well and create soft hands out front, can throw from multiple arm slots effectively. Also catches and his quick feet are an asset at that position as well. Very good student.
