Jackson Turney is a 2026 1B/LHP with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Tulsa, OK who attends Charles Page. Thick and physical young build with very good strength, stands out physically for his age. Left handed hitter, hits from an upright straight stance, gets into his lower half well, will lean out over the plate at times with his upper body, has present bat speed from a pretty compact stroke, hits under control until he aggressively fires the barrel, nice hitting tools to develop. 8.04 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, showed good athleticism and soft hands moving in both directions, good arm strength for the position, will be an asset defensively. Also pitched, has an easy well paced delivery, stays directional well, medium arm length and hides the ball well. Fastball sat in the mid-70's with occasional cutting action. Slider was his best pitch, showed excellent feel for landing the pitch for strikes, mixed his pitches well and dominated. Good student. Named to the National Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
