Romeo De La Torre is a 2029 2B/RHP, SS, MIF, IF, OF, UT with a 5-4 140 lb. frame from Temecula, CA who attends Corona. Young, developing frame with an athletic look and plenty of time to mature physically. Recorded a 9.55 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary infielder with a developing defensive skill set. Showed some lateral range to either side, a clean funnel out in-front and delivered fairly accurate throws up to 67 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wider base with a high hand set, high back elbow and leg lift trigger. Middle-of-the field approach with some quickness to his hands, consistent bat-to-ball skills and some present bat speed. Displayed some adjustability with the barrel and will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Excellent Student.
