Noah Newton is a 2028 3B/RHP, 1B, UT with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from Sugar Land, TX who attends Fort Bend Christian Academy. Tall lean build with long limbs, high waist, wiry muscularity and plenty of room to add physicality. Primary position infielder, showing good feel for the spot with a quick first step and an understanding for angles. Two-hand gather as he presents the glove out front nicely and securing the ball with ease to deeper midline funnel. Changed arm angles on throws when necessary and reached 76 mph on feeds across the diamond. RHP as well, moving easy down the mound and repeating release point with regularity as he filled up the zone. Works through a 3/4 arm angle and the ball jumps out of his hand quite a bit. Fastball up to 78 mph showing occasional arm side run and sink. Backs that up with a very projectable changeup, showing fade and deception. Also spun a pretty good two-plane breaker in the mid-60s. RHH working from a medium inline stance, good handset and a tilted barrel pre-pitch. Showed some loose wrists and twitch to his actions as he accelerated the bat head to impact. Showed the ability to drive the ball through the oppo gap with low-line drives. Some real two-way potential to follow here, especially as he fills out his frame. Outstanding student as well.
