Rex Rambo III is a 2024 OF/LHP with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Royse City, TX who attends Rockwall-Heath. Lean build. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.78 seconds. A primary OF who showed soft hands when fielding balls on the ground as well as quality body control when approaching balls. His top throw from the OF grass was clocked at 71 mph. On the offensive side of the baseball he hits out of an even stance with a low back elbow setup. Does a nice job of getting extended out front on contact. Uses an all-fields approach and showed advanced feel for the barrel. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a crossfire stride. His FB topped out at 73 mph and showed a SL with some slight tilt to it. Good student in the classroom.
