Carsen Gagliano is a 2025 C/OF with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from Hammond, LA who attends Ponchatoula. Medium and lean frame with room to fill and time to do so. Ran an 8.06 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, worked out behind the dish with a low set position, receives out in front with a soft mitt, quick and smooth with his transfer and release, accurate throws with developing arm strength down to second base. Secondary outfielder, worked out at the position with a quick first step to the baseball, drives through the baseball with a working arm action and accuracy to the bag, topped out at 63 mph from the outfield. Right-handed hitter, sets up at the plate with an even stance and a high hand set, active hand load with a leg lift trigger, drives the lower half and will tend to leak onto the front side at times, downward hand path with a cut off finish, contact-oriented approach.
