Preston Conrad is a 2028 OF/RHP/1B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Kingsland, GA who attends Camden County High School. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean frame with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.65 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, creates nice angles to work behind the ball, shows some present footwork and has tools to continue to build upon, present arm speed through the back with carry out of the hand, projects well. Also pitched, leg lift up to belt and lands on line coming down the mound; stays shorter through the backside with quality arm speed while getting up to a high three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 76 mph, mostly true through the zone, simple delivery. Mixed a curveball up to 56 mph, can maintain arm speed at release for additional shape and bite. Left-handed hitter, begins with a wide base and a quiet hand set, inward toe tap trigger for timing in the box. Generates quality bat speed through the zone and lived on the barrel throughout live action, repeats swing and puts the ball in play. Comfort working to the pull side, ball comes off well when squared and swings with intent, 81 mph exit velocity in testing. Named to the 2024 14U Georgia All-State Games Top Prospect List.
