Roman Acevedo is a 2029 2B/RHP, 1B, 3B, MIF, OF with a 5-5 130 lb. frame from Visalia, CA who attends . Compact, medium frame with square shoulders and plenty of room to add strength. Recorded a 8.17 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary second baseman with proper footwork into the fielding process, a clean funnel out in-front and some lateral range. Displayed accurate throws up to 68 mph across the diamond during drills. Will continue to improve with mechanical refinements and additional arm strength. Secondary right-handed pitcher that attacked hitters with his fastball that sat comfortably in the upper-60s and topped out at 71 mph in this look. Proficient strike thrower with ability to land breaking ball with gradual depth from a three-quarters arm slot. Left-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, even base with a high hand set, low back elbow and simple trigger. Shorter stroke with some looseness to his hands and some present bat speed. Middle-of-the field approach with ability to get the barrel out in-front on the inner-half, will continue to improve with mechanical adjustments and additional strength. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
