Ezra Gonzalez is a 2028 1B/LHP, OF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Roma, TX who attends Roma. Physical, big bodied frame with present size. Ran a 8.39 in the sixty. Showed promise in outfield and first base drills. Gets glove down on time, good first step. Solid accuracy and glove worked well. Good turns to the bag at first and made the plays. Looked comfortable on the move. Also pitched, works from an over-the-top arm action with some angle at release from the left side. Repeats it well, fastball has some deception with the delivery. Short breaking ball mixed in for strikes. Filled the zone and made for a tough at-bat. Left-handed hitter, open stance and even base from high hand set. Big impact and heaviest to the barrel. Loud round with several pull-side hits to the gap. Separates well and gets into strength for age. Young juice to tap into. Named to Top Prospect list.
