Carter Nash is a 2029 OF/RHP/1B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Moore, SC who attends Dorman. Bigger build with very good strength for his age. 6.97 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, is aggressive through the ball and plays with energy, fields the ball to the side but is quick with his exchange, makes accurate on-line throws with some carry and plenty of projection. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a short stride into contact, stays short and well connected and uses his lower half to help drive his bat speed, got mis-timed occasionally but impacted the ball hard when on time. Also pitched, has slow to fast drop and drive mechanics with a medium length loose arm circle to a 3/4's arm slot, gets into his strong lower half well coming down the mound. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side life, thrown for strikes. Also threw a developing soft curveball. Selected to participate in the Perfect Game 13U Select Festival.
