Maximus Brunkel is a 2027 C/SS with a 5-11 182 lb. frame from Hebron, KY who attends Conner. He has an athletic frame with present strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.26 seconds. Primary catcher that starts with a wide stance that is open. He does a nice job of working towards second base on his throws, gaining ground and momentum. He made clean transfers throughout his round and was accurate to the bag. Secondary shortstop that showed nice athleticism and was always in the proper fielding position. He works through the ball with his lower half and showed nice arm strength across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that starts in an upright stance with high hands. He uses a leg lift trigger for timing and loads early. He has an aggressive swing and looks to power the ball to the pull side. He showed the ability to create backspin and leverage the ball into the gaps. Named to the 2024 Ohio Valley Workout Showcase (Wed.) Top Prospect List. Excellent student.
