2022 Jupiter Qualifier Workout Showcase
Ricardo A. Rivera is a 2025 C/RHP/IF with a 5-8 190 lb. frame from Juncos, PR who attends IBAHS. Ran a 7.97 second sixty. Primary catcher with a ticker build. Sits in a side straddle stance receiving the ball deep before gaining ground into the throws with developing arm strength on the accurate throws. Does a nice job of getting the hands out front to receives the baseball with developing footwork as he works through it into a shuffle as eh gains ground toward the bag with young developing carry on the ball flight. Right-hadned hitter, starts with a slight open stance with a simple stride getting back to even before triggering the swing. Does a nice job staying inside the ball with the hands showing a compact level bat path with good extension through the ball showing flashes of barrel control. Excellent student.
