Manuel Guarate is a 2026 C/1B with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Lawrenceville, GA who attends Duluth. Big and physical kid with size in both halves translating to some present strength. Ran a 7.79 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, multiple stances shown, blocks well in game, works hard laterally, developing feel on exchange consistently, has a base here to improve upon, will get better with additional flexibility and agiity, accruate throws to the bag, better in game. Right-handed hitter, has some pop to the pull side, srength upon impact here, uphill path, flashed some of that juicein game with a deep double to centerfield in game. Present pop from a primary catcher, can and should improve behind the dish long term.
