Parker Hicks is a 2027 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-10 183 lb. frame from New Albany, MS who attends New Albany. Medium build with some present strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a hanging front leg load, gets his foot down on time and fires his hips well, nice upper body rotation to drive his swing, repeats his timing well and has a fluid and loose swing with bat speed, hits to all fields, type of swing approach that translates well to games. 7.53 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense with a second or third base profile, works around the ball well with a clean two hand gather, has a short and easy arm stroke and changes his slots well, playable arm strength. Took a turn off the mound, gets coiled over the rubber well and is directional down the mound, shorter arm takeaway that hides the ball well, mid 3/4's arm slot. Slider heavy approach, throws it any count and lands it often for strikes, pretty good pitch. Fastball topped out at 78 mph and was also thrown for strikes. Solid all around player with a chance to hit. Very good student. Named to the Sunshine Mid-South Showcase Top Prospect List.
