KC Fall Softball Scouting Combine Afternoon Session
Alysa Lowe is a 5'7, class of 2023, OF/1B, 2B from Ankeny, IA who attends Ankeny HS. Alyssa is a veteran player with a sound approach to all areas of the game. She ran a 3.34 20-yard dash with a 1.22 5-yard split. A primary outfielder, Alysa has an advanced game on the grass. Very mature actions. Her feet work well and she is easy and smooth to position. Builds momentum into the fielding action. Her glove plays well. Routine transition to a 57-mph arm. Her throws are firm and consistently accurate. Advanced, college ready ability in the OF. At the plate, Alysa is steady. She has a great understanding of, and can execute ably, the bunt game. She is balanced at the ready and shows a quick trigger. Showed some strength in her hands. When on time and on path, she can strike the ball with some force. There is a little power in her barrel, too. Alysa has a poised and polished approach to her game. With two years remaining in her HS and travel ball careers, she has time to add even more to her already noticeable game. She appears to have, through her positive body language, the drive and determination to work diligently doing just that! Like her potential. Admire her game!
