Sam Brewer is a 2027 C/RHP with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Fredericksburg, TX who attends Fredericksburg. Recorded a 7.79 second 60-yard dash time. Primary catcher with a medium frame and lean athletic build. Traditional stance behind the plate with quick release on throws replacing the feet. Better in-game throws than during drills. Pocket awareness while receiving with agility to both sides while blocking. Secondary right-handed pitcher working from the stretch with a shorter takeaway to a 3/4 slot and high-belt lift down the slope. Fastball up to 79 mph (1968 RPM) and curveball with depth around 69 mph (1852 RPM). Right-handed hitter with a narrow base and high hands setup in the box. Knee-lift trigger short stride with tight swing through the zone. Rotational swing path with barrel wrap during separation. Pull side approach with impact out front. Good student.
