Jacob Ogilby is a 2023 OF/RHP/MIF with a 6-3 184 lb. frame from Mariposa, CA who attends Mariposa County. Long and lean athletic build with lots of room to fill in and get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a deep hand load and has a full loose and extended swing, generates some bat speed and has the tools to drive the ball, launched a game home run to the pull side. 7.15 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, worked through the ball well, has a good arm stroke with some carry and accuracy and more to come. Took a turn on the mound, works from a step by step delivery with a deep arm action in back and a 3/4's arm slot out front. Fastball worked in the mid 70's and topped out at 78 mph with some sinking action. Also threw a soft sweeping slider.
