John Arnold is a 2025 SS/RHP, 3B, OF with a 5-4 120 lb. frame from Long Beach, CA who attends Wilson. Small frame, slender build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 8.24 seconds. Primary infielder, showed some hand quickness on defense with a quick release and exchange on his throws, compact high arm stroke, makes accurate throws, still developing glove actions. From the mound, throws from a high three-quarter slot, arm reaches way back and offline. His fastball topped out at 64 mph. Showed curveball has good bite, has tight spin and late break. Showed changeup, cut it well. Right-handed hitter, even base stance, with a leg kick stride, hands cial back. Had a middle approach, hit everything hard on a line up the middle. Excellent student.
