Brooks Oursler is a 2009 RHP/1B/OF with a 6'7'', 215 lb. frame from Franklin, TN who attends Franklin Road Academy. Oursler has a big tall strong projectable frame. He has a tall and fall delivery and his fastball was in the mid 80's at the Metrodome. We have seen much better out of him before. He also threw a 70mph curveball. His build projects well on the mound. At the plate he has a spread stance with leverage in his swing. The ball comes off his bat well when he squared it up and he shows good power potential. He is also a good student.
