John Pintar is a 2028 SS/RHP, MIF, UT with a 5-4 115 lb. frame from Laguna Niguel, CA who attends St. Margaret's Episcopal. Young frame with a lean, athletic build. Ran an 8.85 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, shows good footwork and sound, repeatable glove mechanics out front at the ball. Made all the plays and shows accuracy on throws across the diamond, with some preset carry, strength will continue to develop, repeats actions and shows lateral agility. On the mound he has an over the top arm angle and throws primarily out of the stretch. His delivery is deliberate and simple and he's able to repeat. Fastball topped out at 65 mph and he has good command in the zone with his changeup. Curveball had life and he kept hitters off balance throughout up to 54 mph. Right-handed hitter at the plate, has an upright stance with an even to narrow base. He uses a toe tap trigger to get his timing locked in, subtle weight shift through lower half. He has a direct path to the baseball with developing bat speed; shows the ability to go the other way and can unlock more with additional lower half implemented.
