Zackary Bridges is a 2027 RHP/2B with a 5-4 115 lb. frame from Fort Mill, SC who attends Legion Collegiate Academy. Medium frame with lean current build, some wiry strength and plenty of time and space to add overall physicality. Ran the 60 yard dash in 8.41 seconds. Primary position RHP, using a full windup from the 1B side of the rubber, medium leg lift to the belt, hand break at the chest into medium arm path mostly inline with the body, accelerates through a high 3/4 arm angle, good posture down the mound, gets some energy out of the lower-half, linear operation and lives on the edges of the zone, gets the hand outside the fastball and creates consistent cutting action and it honestly gave hitters fits, it peaked at 71 mph and never got squared, high spin traits of 2,200+, two-plane breaker with higher spin at almost 2,400 rpms. Reps on the infield, moving fine on his feet with later glove action to midline transfer. Making plays and feeds up to 69 mph here. RHH working from an even start with turned in front foot. Flat barrel over the shoulder pre-pitch, a bit late timing wise early in round causing some bottom of the ball impact. Bigger stride to get moving and will see more impact with added strength. Very good student too.
