Jack Addison is a 2027 2B/RHP, SS with a 5-0 96 lb. frame from Auburn, CA who attends Placer. Features a smaller build with athleticism present. Ran a 7.43 60-yard dash. Primary infielder. Uses athleticism well on the dirt. Moved around with fluidity and showed good range in both directions. Smooth glove actions caught the ball cleanly. Has promising young actions with time to develop them further. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an stance with a high back elbow and hands at the letters. Stays athletic in the box. Simple, single step load shifts weight well onto the backside. Has some feel for the barrel using a linear swing path. Approach stays through the middle of the field. Displayed quality bat to ball skills that leads to solid contact. More power will come as the frame continues to develop. Threw on the mound as well. Righthanded pitcher. Throws from a 3/4 arm slot using a short arm action. The fastball sat 63-67mph on a level plane. Was around the zone often with the pitch. Paired the fastball with a breaking ball in the low-50’s. Slower velocity generates some whiffs. Still developing bite and spin on the offering. Pitch mix and velocity should only get better as the frame matures.
