2022 PG Softball KC Scouting Combine - Fall
Shay Davis is a 2026 OF/C, MIF from Clive, IA who attends Waukee Northwest. Shay showcased as an outfielder at our Kansas City Combine this past October. Defensively, her ability to read the ball off the bat, was one of the first things that stood out to me. She does a great job taking control of centerfield and commands the diamond with her leadership. Needs to slow down her feet a little bit when attacking the ball, but does a great job being quick with her transfer and keeping her throw low and on a line to every bag. Offensively, she is a explosive right handed hitter who does a great job utilizing her lower half in her swing. She maintains good balance and posture throughout her whole swing sequence and does a good job working the ball to all sides of the field. Overall very strong athlete with big potential. Has the ability to play at the next level if she continues to work. I am very excited to see where the future takes her.
