2021 14U Southern California Prospect Showcase
Evan Hall is a 2025 SS/RHP/3B/OF with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Escondido, CA who attends San Marcos. Long lean projectable build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.34 seconds. Primary shortstop, showed his athleticism, moved well laterally, had good footwork and soft hands. Was comfortable throwing from a lower arm angle, still working on accuracy. Also worked out in the outfield, came to the ball well, had good foot work with a quick transfer. Was able to clock up to 73 mph on throws from the outfield. From the mound, throws from a lower three-quarter arm slot, the fastball has some life sitting 68-72 mph. Right-handed hitter, hits from an upright slightly open stance with a leg lift trigger. Has a quick swing with a natural loft and good bat speed. Showed projectable pull power. Excellent student. Named to the 14U Southern California Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
