D.J. Ylagan is a 2026 3B/SS/IF with a 6-0 178 lb. frame from Fair Haven, NJ who attends Rumson Fair Haven. Ylagan works from a medium athletic build with additional room to fill out as a '26 prospect. As a primary IF, Ylagan displayed smooth quick twitch movements both during workouts and in game, flashing soft hands with solid arm strength across the diamond up to 86 mph. His game translates at multiple spots, projecting as a primary 3B in the future. On the mound, the righty displayed a compact operation and high 3/4 release to attack hitters in the zone with a three pitch FB/CB/CH mix. He hid the ball effectively and made it difficult for opponents to pick up out of the hand. Offensively, Ylagan started from a slightly open base with a toe tap trigger and low back elbow, showcasing easy hand speed through the zone to create consistent pull side middle of the field impact with carry. He flashed evident jump off the barrel, posting an exit velo of 90 mph. Ran a 7.41 sixty yard dash. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
