Parker Whitley is a 2025 UT/1B/2B with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Winterville, NC who attends D H Conley. Young, slender, build with tons of physical projection remaining to be added throughout his frame. 7.71-second runner during the sixty. Primary infielder, deep funnel with deliberate actions. Accurate across the diamond with developing arm strength. Some quickness in his footwork as he plays through the ball. Secondary right-handed pitcher, methodical, full wind up with slight coil. Pauses at balance point before driving down slope. Comes from a high 3/4 slot. Worked fastball on both sides of the plate, sitting in the 68-71 mph range. Developing feel for secondary offerings, that show flashes of swing-and-miss stuff. Right-handed hitter, sets up with an even, balanced stance with a high-hand set. Uses a slight toe-tap-trigger to engage lower half, getting rotational. Showed continued feel for the barrel as his round of BP progressed. Line-drive, compact stroke working through the middle-of-the-field. Ball will carry as he continues to add strength. Excellent student.
