Almeida is a 2005 2B/OF from Bridgeport, CT with a 5'8"/155 pound medium frame. David projects as a 2B at the next level with short, quick arm actions and solid fielding mechanics. He has good footwork, and excellent range. He showed decent power and sprayed line drives to all fields. He has good bat speed and makes solid contact consistently. He showed overall good athleticism with (7.07 60), and he showed great hustle and enthusiasm during the entire event. David is an excellent student.
