2022 PG Softball Oklahoma City Scouting Combine
Avery laird is a 2026 RHP/1B from Tuttle OK who will attend Tuttle HS. Not only did she showcase well in the circle, but Avery also maintains a 4.0 GPA in the class room. This 5'8" RHP shows great upside in the circle. Thawing a Fastball, change, screw, curve and drop curve she maintains good pop and has nice long levers with her motion. She does a great job locating her pitches on both halves of the plate. Her change up is a good speed differential from her harder pitches giving her a different look for hitters. As she continues to develop in the circle and she learns how to sequence everything she is going to be a lethal tool on the mound. Offensively, she did a great job utilizing the middle of the field taking her hands short to the ball and hitting more line drive style contact. She gets good pop and utilizes her lower half well. Overall Avery is a great athelte will big upside in the circle and adds tremendous value. Very excited to watch this athlete progress as she gets older.
