2006 Northeast Top Prospect Showcase
Alex Lee is a 2007 middle infielder from Newton North High School in Newton, Massachusetts who has a 5'9" 155 pound frame. He has a smaller frame but is very lean. Alex hits with his hands up high and stays on top of the ball very well. He centers the ball and can drive the ball to the gaps. In the field, he is very light on his feet and has nice hands. Lee has a strong accurate arm with good carry that he showed off by throwing 82 across the infield. He is very solid defensively. He also has good speed (7.03 60). Alex is a good student with a 3.1 grade point average and scoring an 1810 on his SAT.
