Easton Ewing is a 2023 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-6 220 lb. frame from Liberty, KS who attends Independence. Long and lean build. Ran the sixty in 7.36 seconds. A primary RHP who throws from a high arm slot, his FB topped out at 81 mph with downhill angle. Filled up the zone with the heater to both sides of the dish. His CB had deep 12/6 shape and was a nice change of pace pitch from his FB. At 1B defensively he showed soft hands when fielding balls to both sides of his body and was clean and quick on the double play turn. With the bat he hits out of a square and balanced stance. Uses an all-fields approach with a flat bat path through the zone. Also a great student in the classroom.
