Kori McCall is a 2026 OF/RHP/IF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Hudson, NC who attends South Caldwell. Solid, well-built frame with present strength and room to add more strength. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.27 seconds. Primary position outfielder, showing some first step quickness and using chopping footwork to breakdown before fielding. Solid one hand gather out front, working thought the ball well to midline transfer to throw. Solid presentation, feel for the spot and showing quick arm as he creating shows up to 80 mph with accuracy back to the infield. Secondary RHP, full windup from the extreme 3B side, small step in front before working to abbreviated belt high leg lift to transition, stationary hands at the belly breaking into stabbing deep inline arm path, accelerates through a high over-the-top release point, quite a bit of torso tilt to clear room of the arm angle, a lot of strikes repeating release just fine, fastball up to 73 mph with tilt, sliderish breaker in the mid-60s that played pretty good. RHH working from a narrow and upright stance, tight hands out front and good trigger creating nice separation. Present bat speed and strength at impact as he peppered the ball with a middle of the field approach. Hands deliver the barrel and justifies the occasional uphill path to the ball. Stayed on time and on the barrel. Outstanding student as well.
