David Noriega is a 2027 RHP/1B/3B with a 5-11 210 lb. frame from Clarksville, TN who attends West Creek. Big and strong build. Has a full arm stroke on the mound with an over the top arm slot, gets on top of the ball, hides the ball well and has some deception. Threw three pitches for strikes and stayed down in the zone well. Fastball sat in the upper 70's with good downhill angle. Change up was a nice pitch with good sink and arm speed at release. Curveball had some spin and 11/5 depth. Pitches to contact and repeats his mechanics. 8.70 runner in the sixty. Plays first base when not on the mound. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a leg raise load, tends to not get his foot down on time and has to rush his swing to get his barrel through, flashed some lift with strength behind it but needs to learn to time better. Excellent student.
