David Castillo is a 2023 SS/RHP with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Boston, MA who attends Margarita Muñiz Academy. Big and strong athletic build. 7.25 runner in the sixty. Has active feet on defense and a good lower half base to field from, plays under control and balanced, big arm strength for the left side of the infield, makes on line accurate throws and showed the ability to throw comfortably from lower slots. Right handed hitter, big leg raise and hang to start his swing, swings hard and creates bat speed, turns on balls aggressively and creates back spin and carry, pull/power approach with the strength to execute it. Strong athlete with tools who is still projectable as he continues to work on his skills and consistency. Named to the Fall Top Prospect National Showcase Top Prospect List.
