2004 Underclass National Showcase
David Munoz -- Munoz is a physically mature senior right handed pitcher from the powerhouse Pace HS program in Hialeah, Florida. He threw 4 innings at the showcase with a smooth delivery, good tempo and a nice ability to throw strikes. Munoz was primarily 83-84 mph with some running action on his fastball. His best pitch was a 69-72 mph curveball that had good depth to it. It was one that Munoz could control in the strike zone. He also threw a 69-72 mph change up that had nice fading action. Munoz is a very good student who could help a lot of top college programs with his raw stuff and command.
