Tanner Crispin is a 2024 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-4 180 lb. frame from Dallas, TX who attends Episcopal School Of Dallas. Primary right-handed pitcher with an athletic build and long lean limbs. Throws from a high 3/4 slot while raising his knee to chest on the delivery. Coils it a good bit. Some deception in his delivery causes the fastball to really jump out of his hand and makes it hard to pick up. Good live arm. Maintains good balance throughout the process and stays in line well. Rides downhill driving off the back leg hard. Looser arm action coming full circle with ball coming out free and easy. Pounded the zone early with his fastball and was up to 88 while getting great extension downhill which should continue to allow his velocity to play up. Mixed in a nasty slider with heavy sweeping action. Also flashed a curve with 11-5 shape and depth. Curve was located better than slider, but the slider movement looked really good. Off-speed stuff should start playing off his fastball better as he continues to develop. Also played first with a smooth gather starting and staying low. Spins it well and hops off the bag athletically. Moves well for his size. Right-handed hitter starting slightly open. Uses a big leg lift and stride for timing and rhythm. Showed some quickness in the hands with a good linear bat path. Showed some feel to launch into the gaps. Size and strength show good potential here. Good student. Also named to the Top Prospect List.
