Isaac LaLonde ('26 MI)- jumped an early count heater and split the gaps in a hurry, short direct swing shows no problem getting to the inner third even with a firm opposing pitcher. Proceeded to get a very good jump and steal third.
Basho Muhlbauer ('27 MI) pulled the hands in a scorched one through the 5-6. Very nice piece of hitting.
Joey Sacchetti ('26 IL)- found himself a bases empty 1-out knock to get things started for the gray squad. Looks comfortable in the box with good rhythm.
Cooper Johnson ('27 IL) Very good outing with the 3 pitch mix, can land the breaker at will and shows confidence attacking the zone, allowing the movement of his stuff to force lots of weak contact. Followed it up in game two with a sharp line drive into right.
Cameron Barnes ('26 IL)- Simple parts to the powerful stroke, worked direct to impact a lively heater at the top of the zone back into the right center field gap. Like the ease of the offensive operation. Followed it up in game two with a towering gpa shot for a stand up double.
Brady Steele Decator ('26 MI) turned around a heater hard in the left center field gap. Flashing some juice that way and applying pressure on the base paths, later came around to score.
Norberick Garcia ('25 MI)- absolutely leaned on one in the pullside gap. Was able to scoot around for three bases while plating a run.
Hunter Howe ('26 MN)- real bat speed here, ambushed a first pitch heater and scalded it into the LCF gap.
ET Data ("27 IL)- barrel oppo into left. Went with the pitch away and put a nice swing on it.
Brody Libel ('27 IL) - laser back through the middle in game two. Big strong kid that can move the stick.
