Evan Walker is a 2026 SS/2B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Ajax, ON who attends Archbishop Denis O'Connor Catholic High School. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean build and some present strength, additional room to grow moving forward. Ran an 8.17 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, plays back on the ball and takes shorter steps on the approach, shows ability to change slots on throws with accuracy across, arm strength and carry will continue to develop on throws to first base. Left-handed hitter, begins with a narrow and upright stance in the box with a lower hand set and utilizes a hover trigger moving into contact. Nice rhythm throughout and swings with intent while creating separation out front. Nice tools to build off of while showing present bat speed, works on a linear path with hand speed and flashes leverage at the point of contact. Good student.
