Kodi Medeiros is a 2014 LHP/OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Hilo, HI who attends Waiakea HS. Medium athletic build with good present strength, looks bigger than listed with long limbs. Long loose whippy arm action, cross body release, arm is loose and very smooth coming through, 3/4's arm slot but will drop down to low 3/4's with intent and no drop in stuff, creates severe angle to the plate, tons of deception. Low 90's fastball, topped out at 94 mph, fastball leaps out of his hand with minimal effort, plus tailing life at times. Big sweeping slider with big frisbee action, very tough breaking ball for left hand hitters, rare change up but showed potential plus quality and deception. Showed everything you'd want to see in a young left handed pitcher. Selected for the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
