John Lisec is a 2025 3B/RHP/IF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Omaha, NE who attends Creighton Preparatory. Strong athletic build, looks taller than listed. Primary third baseman who graded out higher as a pitcher at this event. Drop and drive mechanics on the mound with a long stride out front, arm works well with a clean arm circle and 3/4's release slot, gets really good leverage out front when he stays on top and is on time. Fastball was consistently in the upper 70's with big running action at times, lots of fastball projection with normal development. Still gaining feel for getting out front with his curveball. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a big leg raise that can impact his timing, lifting swing with some present power when he's on time getting the barrel extended, looks to pull the ball. 7.49 runner in the sixty. Feet work well on defense and he moves well side to side, fields the ball cleanly out front, hands are a solid tool, charges the ball well with good body control, arm doesn't work as well on defense as it does on the mound. Interesting young athlete, named to the 13U/14U Central Showcase Top Prospect List. Very good student.
