Super 25 Northeast Spring Scout Notes

The Diamond Jacks Super 13’s squad was off to a 2-0 start before rain ultimately cancelled the remainder of the Super 25 Northeast Super Qualifier this weekend in Staten Island, NY. A pair of left-handed hitters were integral parts of their early success and showed vastly projectable swings throughout their first two games. Chase Shollenberger (2026, Easton, Pa.) is a physically advanced, 6-foot-2, 175-pound first baseman with an immensely projectable frame and loads of offensive upside. The left-handed hitting 2026 grad incorporates his length extremely well by creating leverage throughout his rather simple swing pattern. The long, loose swing has plenty of present bat speed and is aided by consistent bat-to-ball skills from the young prospect. Shollenberger’s approach stays through the middle of the field for the most part, while flashing the ability to turn the barrel on the inner half when necessary. The Easton, Pa. native will continue to unlock his future power potential as he continues to add strength to his already large frame.
