On only three hits, Georgia Twins top Mission Baseball 11-0. Anthony Lopez (2017, Central Gwinnett, GA) threw five innings and fanned five. He allowed three hits and two walks for the Twins. Jim Deitsch (2015, Duluth, GA) singled in a run. Travis Love (2017, Northgate, GA) pitched in with a single and an RBI.
Dakota Fowler (2016, Chattanooga Central, TN) pitched two innings for Mission Baseball. He fanned four and walked two.

Marcell Byrd (2015, Hardaway, GA) pitched the Georgia BlackCrackers Scout Team to a 9-0 win over Triton Rays 18U. He fanned seven while allowing just two hits in 5 2/3 innings of work. Samuel Anthony (2016, Hardaway, GA) led the offense with three hits including a double and two RBI's. Byrd pitched in with a double, triple and three RBI's. Blake Rupp (2015, Hardaway, GA) went 2 for 3 with a double.
Charles Leisy (2015, Trinity Presbyterian, AL) threw five innings. He allowed seven hits and k'ed six. His fastball was between 82-84 mph and touched 85.
Chirp tops Warriors

Chirp Baseball's offense racks up 14 hits in their 12-3 win over White County Warriors. Jacob Ramos (2015, Pope, GA) went 2 for 4 with three RBI's. Boyd Brim (2016, Decatur, GA) pitched in with two singles and two RBI's. Luke Bumgardner (2015, Decatur, GA) had a double, triple, and drove in two runs. Both Tyler Thornton (2015, Pope, GA) and Devon Eubanks (2015, Lassiter, GA) had two singles each in the win.
Jay Taylor (2017, White County, GA) led the Warriors with a single that plated a run. Cameron Sosebee (2018, White County, GA) had a double and came around to touch home plate.

TBA eXposure Baseball tried to stage a comeback but Georgia Twins held on to win 2-1. Nicholas Kempf (2017, Northgate, GA) threw 6 2/3 innings. He fanned four while allowing two hits. Dylan Thompson (2016, Northgate, GA) tripled in the win.

Brice McMillan (2015, Christian Academy, TN) had a perfect day at the plate for eXposure Baseball in their 9-0 win over Georgia Twins. He went 3 for 3 with a triple and two RBI's. Dillon Clift (2015, Soddy Daisy, TN) tripled in two runs in the win. Logan Peterson (2015, Gordon Lee, GA) helped out with a double that plated three runs. Ty King (2015, Bradley, TN) started and lasted 1 2/3 innings. He fanned one and did not allow a hit. He threw his fastball in the mid 80's and touched 87 mph.
Anthony Lopez (2017, Central Gwinnett, GA) had a single for the Twins in the loss.
Mavericks Cruise to Championship

The Upstate Mavericks Scout Team defeated the HP Chili Dogs Maldonado 9-3 in seven innings.
For the Mavericks, Nickolas Gatewood (2015, Duluth, GA) led the way for the team with a home run and two singles. He drove in four RBIs and two runs. Benjamin Peden (2015, Greenville, SC) roped two doubles and a single with a RBI and scoring twice. Bradenburg contributed two singles with a RBI, and John Marc Mullins (2017, Birmingham, AL) added a RBI single and a run. The Duke commit, Christopher Proctor (2015, Lawndale, NC), gapped a triple and later scored.
Wilkes pitched most of the game for his team. He went five innings with two earned runs and five hits. He walked just one and struck out three while touching 86 mph with his fastball. Thomas Reddin (2015, Suwanne, GA) close the last two innings with a run scored off four hits. He walked one and struck out two. He ran the radar up to 81 mph.
Cornelius Randolph (2015, Griffin, GA), Cole Jackson (2016, Tyrone, GA), and Adam Goodman (2015, Fayetteville, GA) all led the Chili Dogs with a pair of singles each. Carter Perkins (2015, McDonough, GA) contributed a RBI double while touching home twice, and Jake McFarland (2015, McDonough, GA) helped with a RBI single of his own.
Goodman was the most effective on the mound for his team by lasting four innings. He let four runs score with none of them being earned. He scattered five hits with just one walk and five strike outs. He maxed out the gun at 86 mph.

K Bradenburg helped out tremendously with a single and a double while plating two RBIs and scoring twice. Phillip Ganter (2015, Norcross, GA) led the team on the mound with his pitching performance. He went the complete game with only two runs to score. He scattered seven hits on the way with only one walk. He struck out a dozen opponents. He maxed out the radar at 82 mph with his fastball.
For the Rays, Troy Weatherly (2016, Montgomery, AL) led the team with a triple and a double while plating a RBI. DeAndre Pitts (2016, Troy, AL) added a RBI single of his own. Ryan Crockett (2016, Wetumpka, AL) connected with a single and later scored.
Crockett was the most effective pitcher for his team by going three innings. He let just one earned run score with four hits. He walked a pair of batters and struck out four while touching 80 mph.

The Triton Rays 17U defeated the San Diego Scorpions 3-0 in seven innings.
For the Rays, Davis Daniel (2016, Montgomery, AL) and Corbin Bice (2016, Clanton, AL) were the only players to get hits and both were triples. They both touched home as well. Troy Weatherly (2016, Montgomery, AL) scored the third run for his team.
Brady Greene (2017, Montgomery, AL) took control on the mound for his team by going 6.1 innings. He did not let a run score and allowed just three hits. He did not walk a batter and struck out five on his 84 mph fastball.
For the Scorpions, Aaron Colmenares (2016, Chula Vista, CA) led the team with a pair of singles. Kenny LaPierre (2015, Alpine, CA) helped with a single of his own.
Colmeares also tossed the longest with four innings of work. He let just one run score off one hit. He walked one batter and struck out a pair. He maxed out the gun at 84 mph.

Jaylen Smith, (2015, Eagles Landing Christian Academy, GA) led the offense going 2-3 with a single, a double, one RBI and two runs scored. Stephen Wells, (2016, Mceachern, GA) added two singles and three runs scored. Hayden Cook, (2015, Darlington, GA) pitched 2.1 innings, allowing one run on two hits while striking out four.
Charles Leisy, (2015, Trinity Presbyterian, AL) had a single, three RBIs and two walks to lead the Triton Rays. Hunter Stubbs, (2015, Wetumpka, AL) added a double, one RBI and two runs scored.
Knoxville Reds Blowout GBA Spiked 14-2

The Knoxville Reds cruised to the blowout victory, defeating the GBA Spiked 9 18U, 14-2.
Leadoff hitter Nick Beuchat (2016, Karns HS, TN) went 2-3 with a double, single, two runs scored and two RBIs. Eric Briegel (2015 Karns HS, TN) and Zane Hall (2015, Clinton HS, TN) each went 2-3 with two singles a piece. Briegel also had one run and one RBI, and Hall finished with two runs scored and one RBI in the game. Hal Bishop (2015, Fulton HS, TN) and Chris Reddick (2015, Karns HS, TN) each contribute with a double of their own a piece in the contest.
Beuchat also pitched three complete innings of work, giving up no earned runs, three hits, and struck out four. He had a fastball that peaked at 77 mph and mixed in a handful of curveballs and a changeup for his off-speed pitches.

Batters Box DeMARINI 18U defeated the BigStix Gamers Navy 17U in the high-scoring affair, 14-7.
Leadoff hitter Kyle Hindman (2015, Munford HS, TN) led the way, going 3-6 with a triple, two singles, and three runs scored in the game. Ryan Tow (2015, Collierville HS, TN) also provided some spark going 4-5 with two doubles, two singles, and one RBI. Jesse Kelley (2015, Collierville HS, TN) and Fulton Johnson (2015, Collierville HS, TN) each had a double a piece. Kelley finished 2-4 with a single, three runs and one RBI, and Johnson went 2-4 as well with a single, one run and two RBIs in the game.
For the Navy, Matthew Dunaway went 3-4 with three singles, three runs and one RBI. Hayden Stanley went a perfect 3-3 with a double, two singles, and two RBIs.

Brody Wofford (2015, Model HS, GA) led the way for the Rockies at the plate, going a perfect 2-2 with a homerun, single, one run and three RBIs in the game. Reese Spencer (2015, Adairsville HS, GA) and Miles Minge (2016, Cedartown HS, GA) each went 1-2 in the game with a single a piece. Seth Little (2015, Darlington HS, GA) pitched three complete innings, giving up one earned run on one hit, and struck out four, while utilizing a fastball that topped out at 78 mph, and mixed in a handful of off-speed pitches.
For the Cardinals, Bo Townsend finished 2-3 at the plate, with two singles, one run scored, and two RBIs. Brock Carter (2017, Alcovy HS, GA) contributed with a double, and Jacob Garner (2016, Union Grove HS, GA) finished 1-3 with a single and two runs scored on the day.

The Georgia Tech commit, Tristian English (2015, Williamson, GA), blew the game open for the Chili Dogs with a three RBI double in the game. Carter Perkins (2015, McDonough, GA) connected with a two RBI single, and Nick DiPonzio (2016, Macon, GA) and Cornelius Randolph (2015, Griffin, GA) each added a RBI single and touched home at least once. The UGA commit, Adam Goodman (2015, Fayetteville, GA), roped a RBI double of his own. Jabari Richards (2015, Fayetteville, GA) smacked a single and walked twice while touching home twice.
Jeremiah Woods (2015, Fayetteville, GA) went the first three innings. He didn't give up a run with two hits. He walked one and struck out two with his 86 mph fastball. He has good command while attacking hitters with his aggressive fastball. He stays tall on his backside and uses his good curve to keep batters off balance. Sam Sowerbrower (2015, Sharpsburg, GA) tossed the last two innings. He did not give up a walk, hit, or a run for his opponents. He was able to strike out four batters. He maxed out the gun at 79 mph. He used his good command and his craftiness to keep batters off balance. He has a good change up with a sound and smooth delivery.
For TBA, Michael Meador (2017, Signal Mountain, TN) and Blake Peterson (2018, Cleveland, TN) were the only players to get a single each.

The pitching for the Mavericks were untouchable today. Russ Branch (2016, Polkville, NC) started the game and went only two innings. He did not allow a run or walk in the game with just one hit. He struck out three on his 73 mph fastball. Stew Merdian (2016, Galax, VA) went the longest with five innings of work. He let one run and four hits to occur. He did not walk a single batter and struck out ten batters. He maxed out the gun at 82 mph with his fastball.
John Grigg (2016, Lawndale, NC) led the offense with a two RBI double, and Clayton Caudell (2016, Inman, SC) connected with a RBI double while scoring twice, and Joey Allen (2016, Lexington, SC) roped a RBI single of his own. Douglas Angeli Jr. (2017, Spartanburg, SC) crushed a double and scored twice.

The Upstate Mavericks defeated the Big Stix Gamers 18u 5-1 to advance past the quarterfinals. Ryne Inman (2015, Parkview HS, GA) had a very strong start for the Mavericks tossing 5 shutout innings allowing just 2 hits and 2 walks, while striking out 10 batters. Inman got good velocity on his 83-86/87 mph fastball and mixed in a handful of 74-76 mph curveballs.
Offensively for the Mavericks, Childress went 2-4 with 1 triple and 1 run scored. Benjamin Peden () added in a 2-3 day with 1 RBI and K Bradenburg also showed well going 1-3 with 2 runs scored, 1 RBI and 1 walk.
For the Gamers, #12 went 1-1 with 1 RBI and C Gibson worked 2 walks.
BlackCrackers advance over Scorpions

The Georgia BlackCrackers Scout Team defeated the San Diego Scorpions 2-1 to advance past the quarterfinals. Eric Manibusan (2017, Hardaway HS, GA) earned the win for the BlackCrackers going 6 2/3 innings allowing just 1 unearned run on 5 hits and 3 walks, while striking out 3. Manibusan used a 76-79/83 mph fastball with a 68-70 mph curveball.
Offensively for the BlackCrackers, RJ Brown (2015, Northside HS, GA) went 1-2 with 2 RBI and leadoff man, Samuel Anthony (2016, Hardaway HS, GA), went 1-2 with 1 double.
For the Scorpions, Gilbert Suarez (2015, San Ysidro HS, CA) took the tough-luck-loss going 7 innings allowing 2 runs on 2 hits and 3 walks, while striking out 10 batters. Suarez featured an 85-91/93 mph fastball while on the mound with a 76-80 mph curveball.

Nicholas Gatewood (2015, Duluth, GA) and Noah Smith (2016, Greer, SC) each tallied a two RBI single a piece. The Duke commit, Christopher Proctor (2015, Lawndale, NC), roped a RBI double while later scoring, and Benjamin Peden (2015, Greenville, SC) added a RBI and a run without a hit. C Bradenburg cracked a double with a run.

Connor Truono, (2016, Kennesaw Mountain, GA) pitched three scoreless innings, only allowing one hit while striking out two.
Will Buser, (2016, Memphis University, TN) was the offensive leader for Batters Box going 1-4 with a single and one RBI. Jordan Fitzgerald, (2015, Haywood, TN) pitched a complete game, allowing four runs, three earned, on eight hits while striking out five.

Ryan Crockett (2016, Wetumpka HS, AL) had a huge game offensively going 2-3 with 1 home run, 1 double, 1 run scored and 3 RBI. Troy Weatherly (2016, Jefferson Davis HS, AL) also showed well going 2-3 with 2 runs scored and DeAndre Pitts (2016, Charles Henderson HS, AL) went 1-3 with 1 double and 1 run scored.
Nick Boothe (2016, Edgewood Academy HS, AL) started and won the game for the Rays going 7 strong innings allowing 3 runs, but only 1 earned on 3 hits and 1 walk, while recording 10 strikeouts. While on the mound, Boothe featured a 66-74/75 mph fastball with a 57-60/62 mph curveball.

Joel Pritchett (2015, Cleveland, GA) led the Warriors on the mound with the complete game shutout. He went all seven innings with just two hits to fall without a run to score. He walked a pair but struck out eight while touching 82 mph with his fastball.
The offense was led by Chris Jackson (2015, Cleveland, GA) with his two run home run in the sixth inning. Dylan Ward (2017, Cleveland, GA) contributed a double and later scored. Trent Morgan (2015, Cleveland, GA) was pinned with a RBI without getting a hit.
For the Batters Box, Tyler Walton (2015, Memphis, TN) roped a triple for his team. Marcus Small (2015, Cordova, TN) added a single for the only two hits for the team.

Farrell Dunlap, (2015, Atlanta International, GA) pitched four innings, allowing four runs, two earned, on eight hits while striking out three.
Andrew Smith, (2015, Volunteer, TN) led the Hammond Post 3 offense going 2-2 with a single, a double, one RBI, a walk and a run scored. Luke Nussman, (2015, Sullivan Central, TN) also had two hits and scored a run.

The FSU commit, Tyler Daughtry (2016, Kathleen GA), led the Titans with a trio of singles with a run. Bryce Leasure (2016, Simpsonville, GA) connected with two singles of his own with two RBIs. Jack Stamler (2017, Greenville, SC) roped a double and drove in multi RBIs. Zach Soder (2016, Alpharetta, GA) helped with a two RBI single while scoring twice. Chandler Jacks (2016, Portland, IN) cracked a RBI triple while touching home twice.
Soder also took the mound for the complete game for his team. He did not let up a run with four hits to fall. He did not strike out a batter and walked just one. He maxed out the radar at 71 mph.

Georgia Tech commit, Tristin English (2015, Pike County HS, GA), earned the win for the Chili Dogs throwing 5 dominating innings allowing just 2 hit and 1 walk, while striking out 9 batters. English got great velocity on his 87-92/93 mph fastball while also mixing in a 69-74/77 mph curveball while on the mound. English also impressed at the plate going 3-3 with 1 double, 3 runs scored and 3 RBI.

Southern Alabama commit, Jordan Schmits (2015, Northgate HS, GA), also had a strong day going 1-1 with 1 double and 2 RBI. Fellow southern South Alabama commit, Carter Perkins (2015, Ola HS, GA), added in a 2-2 performance with 1 single, 1 RBI and 1 walk day at the plate.
Kennesaw State commit, Ethan Gillis (2015, Whitewater HS, GA), started and earned the win for the Chili Dogs going 3 no-hit innings allowing just 2 walks, while recording 7 strikeouts. Gillis was a bulldog on the mound as he attacked hitters with his explosive 82-86/87 mph fastball and mixing in a 71-74 mph curveball, that had good depth.

Chandler Jacks, (2016, Jay County, IL) led the Georgia Baseball Titans offensively with a double and two RBIs. Tyler Stubbs, (2015, First Presbyterian Day, GA) and Bryce Leasure, (2016, JL Mann, SC) each contributed offensively with a single, one RBI and one run scored. Stubbs also contributed on the mound as he threw two scoreless innings, only allowing one hit while striking out three.
Kevin Moreau, (2015, First Presbyterian Day, GA) had a good game on the mound as well for the Georgia Baseball Titans as he pitched three innings, only allowing three runs on three hits while striking out eight.

The BigStix Gamers 18U scored six of their eight runs in the first four innings and a solid pitching performance carried them to an 8-1 victory over Batters Box DeMarini 17U.
Lead off hitter Adams was the offensive leader for the BigStix Gamers as he went 3-3 with three singles, two RBIs and three runs scored. Gibson also had an effective offensive performance going 2-3 with two singles and two RBIs. A.J. Spencer displayed some pop in his bat, hitting a solo home run and scoring three runs as well.
Blackwood pitched a solid game, throwing five scoreless innings, only allowing three hits while striking out 10.

Isaac Hale threw a no-hitter for D-BAT Tompkins and his offense produced plenty of run support in a 9-0 win over the East Cobb Padres.
Hale, (2015, Aledo, TX) struck nine batters in the no-hitter and was one walked batter away from throwing a perfect game. He attacked hitters from the beginning, throwing 74 percent of his pitches for strikes and displayed a solid fastball that averaged between 82-85 mph with a max of 88 mph that he could also sink.

The Southeast Storm Baseball scored eight runs in the bottom of the fifth to put the game out of reach and to secure an 11-3 win over Hammond Post 3 American Legion Baseball.
Jeremy Harmon, (2016, Mceachern, GA) led the Storm offensively going 1-2 with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored. Stephen Wells, (2016, Mceachern, GA) added two RBIs and teammate Jaylen Smith added a double, one RBI and two runs scored. Alex Graulich, (2015, Harris County, GA) had a solid outing, throwing four scoreless innings and only allowed one hit while striking out eight.
Luke Nussman, (2015, Sullivan Central, TN) also put up good numbers this afternoon for Hammond Post 3. He pitched four innings, allowing three runs, none were earned, on three hits and struck out six. Nussman also led his team's offense going 1-2 with a single, one RBI, a walk and a run scored. Noah Absher, (2016, Sullivan Central, TN) also drove in a run.

The Upstate Mavericks Scout Team scored six runs in the final three innings en route to an 8-4 win over Mission Baseball.
Luke Fetchko, (2016, Riverside, SC) led the Mavericks going 2-3 with a single, a double, and two runs scored. Bo McKinney, (2017, Travelers Rest, SC) and Colton Garland, (2016, Mountain Heritage, NC) each had a single and one RBI to add to the Mavericks offensive production.
John Grigg, (2016, Burns, NC) was the winning pitcher, throwing 1.2 innings, allowing two unearned runs on four hits and struck out one.
Gabe Tyyrrell, (2015, Rhea County, TN) and Josh Bean, (2015, Walker Valley, TN) each had a single and one RBI to lead the Mission Baseball offense. Walker Waters, (2017, Walker Valley, TN) pitched three innings, allowing four runs, two earned, on six hits and struck out one.

The Georgia BlackCrackers Scout Team and Tiger USA Baseball scored both of their lone runs in the first inning, then the pitching took over holding the opposing offense scoreless the rest of the way in a 1-1 tie.
Devin Perez, (2017, Shaw, GA) was the starting pitcher for the Georgia BlackCrackers and threw a complete game, allowing one run on three hits while striking out eight. Perez used a fastball that averaged between 74-78 mph and maxed out at 83 mph. Samuel Anthony, (2016, Hardaway, GA) led the offense going 2-3 with a single, a double, a stolen base and a run scored. Kaleb Podger, (2018, Shaw, GA) drove in his team's only run.
John Michael Boswell, (2015, Paidea, GA), a Furman commit, led the Tiger USA Baseball offense going 1-2 with a single and drove in the only run. Shea Wilkey, (2014, Meadowcreek, GA) pitched six solid innings, allowing one run on six hits while striking out three.

Davis Daniel (2016, St. James, AL) threw six solid innings and helped Triton Rays 17U beat GBSA Blue Rays 5-3. He struck out eight while allowing four hits. His fastball was between 85-88 mph and touched 89. Ryan Crockett (2016, Wetumpka, AL) singled in a run for the Rays.
C Smith led the Blue Rays offense with two singles. Christian Griffin (2015, Stephenson, GA) started and pitched two innings. He struck out five and allowed two hits. Brandon Hill (2015, Parkview, GA) came in next. In 1 1/3 innings, he fanned one but walked five. His fastball was in the mid 80's and touched 87 mph.

Early runs help San Diego Scorpions beat BigStix Gamers Cardinal 17U. Austin Dabbs (2015, Granite Hills, CA) went 2 for 2 with two doubles. Andrew Lowry (2015, Granite Hills, CA) pitched in with two singles. Michael Cartwright III (2015, Granite Hills, CA) threw 3 1/3 innings. He struck out three while allowing just one hit.
Bo Townsend started for the Cardinals. He lasted four innings and struck out three.
Dodgers hold on for a victory

Chirp Baseball scored two runs in the seventh but it wasn't enough as East Cobb Dodgers won 3-2. Miles Jones (2016, Whitewater, GA led their offense with two hits including a triple and two RBI's. CJ Carter (2016, Decatur, GA) also hit a triple in the win. He also started and lasted three innings. He struck out four while allowing just one hit.
Jacob Ramos (2015, Pope, GA) started for Chirp. In 2 1/3 innings, he struck out five while allowing two hits and one walk. Tyler Thornton (2015, Pope, GA) came in next to finish the game. He fanned four and allowed three walks. Thornton also helped out offensively. He tripled in a run.
Rockies tie with Batters Box

Doubleday Rockies scored three in the first but couldn't hold on as they tied 3-3 with Batters Box DeMarini 18U. Quinton Kay (2015, Pepperell, GA) drove in two runs with a single for the Rockies. Michael Haywood (2015, Tyner Academy, TN) went 2 for 3. Kay also started and lasted five innings. He struck out five while allowing three hits.
Jacob Wright (2015, Gibson County, TN) started for the Batters Box. In six innings, he fanned six while allowing six hits and two walks. Jeff Goodwin (2015, Christian Brothers, TN) went 2 for 3 and came around to score once.

The game went back and forth but BigStix Gamers Navy 17U came back to beat Upstate Mavericks 7-6. Hayden Stanley (2017, McDonough, GA) led the Gamers with two singles and two RBI's. Alex Johnson pitched in with two singles and came around to score twice. Drew Terril doubled in two runs. Josh Palmer went 2 for 3 in the win. Johnny Coole threw four innings. He struck out four while allowing two hits. His fastball was between 79-81 mph and touched 82.
