Michael King (2029 3B, Pinecrest, FL) showed a good two-strike approach, ripping a single the other way and then coming around to score his team’s first run of the game.
Seth Vasquez (2029 C, Orlando, FL) showed two-way potential as he tallied a single and threw well off the mound. He worked in the mid-70s range on the fastball and paired it with a slider.
John Escobar (2029 1B, Hollywood, FL) flashed abilities on both sides of the ball. He collected a pair of singles and made quick work on the mound, allowing no hits.
Bengie Del Nodal (2029 SS, Hialeah, FL) continued to swing a hot bat today, as he timed up a curveball and smoked it to the pull side for a single in the 5th inning. He later added a second single, ripping an RBI knock to left field.
David Gundel (2029 RHP, Orlando, FL) dialed in with two strikes and absolutely tattooed a ball to the pull-side gap. It one-hopped the wall for a standup double.
Jaiden Breton (2029 SS, Land O Lakes, FL) worked a hitter’s count and then waited back on a curveball. He rotated swiftly and lined it to centerfield for a single. He also added a nice sliding catch at the end of the game.
